Movies: It was a teenage wedding
In entertainment news, we have a story which is both very bizzare and very, very promising.
Blood-and-guts director Quentin Tarantino may be going soft.
The "Kill Bill" and "Pulp Fiction" director will make a cameo appearance in a new ABC-TV movie featuring the Muppets and based on the classic tale "The Wizard of Oz," ABC announced Thursday...
If only he was directing it.
Society: Mere mortals
Reality is obviously a computer-generated construct entirely for my benefit. Case in point: the other day, while secluded in my private thoughts at the copy machine, said to myself, and I quote, "When will a celebrity have the courage to stand up and start talking about the celebrity-dating-celebrity complex and how unfair it is to regular people?"
Well, just today I read that Matt Damon has vowed to only date regular people. A start, but not exactly what I was looking for. The computer programmer who controls reality must think I'm gay.
Politics: I am also like my character in Twins.

I'm fond of saying that the greatest thing about Arnold Schwarzeneggr being the govenor of one of the most powerful states on the planet is that, given his style, no joke you can make about it is funnier than the truth. But there are plenty of other reasons that Gov. Schwarzeneger is really, really cool for America.
I know I'm anxiously awaiting next week's GOP convention.
Blog: Times they are a-changin'
I was thinking of closing down Thinblueblog and opening a more focused blog but King of nothing beat me to it!
Stay tuned to On becoming a robot in order to reach a zen-like state of enlightenment.
Movies: Keep us near while apart
I know I have been a way awhile, but I've been busy baby. I've been meaning to write, really I have. Things just get chaotic so quickly and they haven't even really picked up yet. All I can say is that I'll try, but you have to understand that it's not going to be easy, not for awhile.
To tide you over, I bring you some potentially bad news about Star Wars.
