Finally...
Check out this crazy letter I got in the mail today. It was addressed to my parents and concerns how honored they should be that Ray is being named one of our nation's top high school students. This, despite the fact that that my parents have never lived at my address and I haven't been in high school in quite a while.
But you know what? I'm thinking of going through the process. After all, "[t]here are no fees of any kind." Plus, "when we publish Ray's biography, he can enjoy well-earned, widespread recognition."
Let me just say, it's about time.

hahahaha... didnt you graduate high school 6.5 years ago? Just checking in case I missed something.
Clearly, you have missed nothing. The same cannot be said for the National Honor Roll Student Nominations Standards Committee.
Wow, they sure played the "widespread recognition" card a lot in that letter. I certainly hope a National Honor Roll member didn't write that piece of redundant crap. Not that you being an honor roll-ee is crap....just the way the letter was written. You get the idea. Congrats! Maybe you can frame it for your open house!
