How much do you commit yourself?

Even when coming into the office voluntarily to work on my day off do I feel the need to putz around on the internet before getting around to doing actual work, thus my presence here.

I don't really have the statistics in front of me concerning how many of you are left reading this thing. I would assume that closing it up drove you all away. So since I can't say with any certainty who you are, forgive me if I'm repeating any information that I may have drunkenly babbled at you already.

Things at the job are going swimmingly. First of all, newspapers are a great business to be in, as far as advertising sales are concerned. And I think you know you're doing your collective job right when wackos try to shut you up.

Personally, it is a challenging thing. I am very busy, and, according to a quick glance at the publishing calendar on the wall of my cube, will be until May 13th. But, as I am fond of saying, it's kind of nice to be busy with something that you care about.

And I'm a day away from turning 24. I'm not sure I have anything really insightful to say. Probably anything I could come up with would sound insipid, so let's just say that for the first time in a while, at least, it feel like getting older and getting more independent are happening simultaneously. And, as I'm also fond of saying, that's pretty cool.
